Jeremy & Paul interviewed for Business Eye
Tasked with responding to a number of questions about how Mammoth got to where it is today, Jeremy and Paul had to do a little reminiscing. This brought back fond memories of how keen and excited they were to start out on their own and how hard it was getting their first clients.
In addition to some of the top tips for managing the trials and tribulations of starting a business, they also had a few laughs about their first staff Christmas party – which nearly didn’t happen. With every penny invested in their business and funding cashflow with personal loans and overdrafts they had virtually no cash left – as they were only three months after start-up and still waiting for their first invoices to clear! But they really wanted to say thanks to their staff and celebrate all they had achieved in only three months. So, it fell upon to Paul to go cap-in-hand to his mum to borrow £400 to fund their first staff night out!
