Men in Tights - (for money!)
You donated in your dozens and we thank you. We raised over £1000 for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, by throwing our inhibitions out the window and dressing up as super heroes for a pilgrimage to Castle Court to chat with U105's Maurice Jay & Frank Mitchell.
The Proof is in the Pictures
For all those who donated we said we'd provide video and photographic evidence of myself and Paul doing our heroic deeds around town – ably assisted by a selected motley crew of staff (it was amazing how many had holidays and haircuts pre-planned for that day!!).
The tour around town finished with a visit to the large shopping centre at Castlecourt where local radio station “U105” DJ Maurice Jay was living and sleeping in the front window of Debenhams for 5 days to raise funds for the Childrens Hospice also. We even ended up getting interviewed on radio to an audience of 150,000!
What you helped us Raise
apart from our tights! Thanks to all our friends, family, colleagues, clients & suppliers who dug deep and contributed to our cause – even if most of it was motivated by wanting to see us humiliated by having to run round Belfast dressed in our outfits! Little did they know that was the bit we were actually LOOKING FORWARD TO! And here's the proof of what we raised on the donation site.
