Brand Strategy Lead

Mammoth are a brand-led full-service agency based in Belfast, London and Dublin.  Straddling the worlds of consultancy, positioning, high-end design, digital marketing and content creation, we are now in our 20th year of driving tangible results for our clients.  At home in both B2B and Consumer markets, we have built a fantastic base of clients across healthcare, education, tourism, insurance and financial services.

Mammoth continue to expand internationally, and that growth is led by our Brand Strategy and Development team.  With an eye on incoming projects and our growth objectives, we are on the hunt for a Brand Strategy specialist to play a leading role in our senior brand team.

This role will suit a collaborative, fact-driven, creative thinker with great human and business instincts. The Brand Strategy Lead will support the agency’s growth by uncovering information, distilling insights and synthesizing them to create inspiration for our creative teams and business partners. This work is the starting point for ground-breaking creative work and the Brand Strategy Lead will become the go-to resource for our clients regarding deep, analytical business thinking and strong perspectives on their industry, consumer, marketing and business strategies.

The Brand Strategy Lead will be responsible for managing multiple client, new business and internal projects and will be expected to collaborate effectively with colleagues in Creative, Digital and Content teams.

Essential:

  • You should have 8+ years of relevant marketing experience with at least three of these spent in Brand Planning and/or Strategy
  • You must be confident, articulate and have excellent instincts with regard to business strategy, brand competitiveness and general marketing theory
  • High developed and flexible writing styles
  • You should be excited about the prospect of working directly with multiple clients and new business pitches at any given time
  • You should have a passion for creativity, culture, understanding how people think/interact, brands, and problem solving.
  • You should have, but not be constricted by, a toolbox of resources to help build brands, plan campaigns and find insights
  • You must have excellent instincts both broadly across industries and deeply within any given capability or function.
  • Used to managing and briefing designers, liaising with multiple stakeholders and having autonomy over client project plans.

Desirable:

  • Graduate degree in communications, advertising, brand planning or business a plus
  • Experience or knowledge in specific sectors within which Mammoth currently operate
